When it comes to buying a new home, you’ll of course need to decide where you want to live and how much space you need. If you’re buying a new construction home, you’ll also need to decide who you want to build it. As you consider your options and weigh the reputations of potential homebuilders, you might also consider some of the advantages of choosing to go with someone local.

Home Location and Custom Design

As we’ve said before (and you of course already know), location is the most important element to nearly all homebuyers. While National homebuilders may have deeper pockets to purchase larger plots of land, a local builder will know the best areas to build that will offer buyers the most bang for their buck. At Rezide Properties, we live and work in Cherokee County, and we’re true local experts.

A local homebuilder is also more likely to offer well thought out, unique home designs that work with and resonate with homeowners in the region. On the other hand, a national builder may offer the same three or four home designs all over the country. While they’ve probably perfected it, it may also mean that a design element popular in one region of the country may still show up in your Woodstock home, even if it’s not a perfect fit.

At Rezide, our homes are designed by Tony Perry, who has more than 40 years of experience building homes in the Atlanta area.

Customer Service Before, During and After the Homebuilding Process

When you choose a national homebuilder, there’s often a large team ready and willing to help homebuyers. But that means you may end up working with a number of different people throughout the process and get passed from one individual to another when you have questions (and you’re building a home – there will be questions!).

With a local company, you’ll work with the same dedicated team throughout the process, and they’re motivated to do things right. Local homebuilders are members of the community who have a vested interest in producing quality work that looks good and lasts – the community is their home, too!

The Advantages of a Local Home Builder

Right now in Woodstock, there are several new home communities being built and homebuyers have a real choice between local and national homebuilders. At Rezide Properties, as a local builder, we offer the best new home locations, the best value for homebuyers, and the best customer service and quality in town.
