From our office staff to our builders, each individual who works here brings unique talents and a passion for doing the best job around.
Our experience and design expertise are extensive – our owners Tony Perry and Chris Lafaive, have a combined 62 years of experience building houses! Our philosophy is that we don’t just build houses, we build something that’s part of your lifestyle. We’ve thought a lot about how you interact with your home and how it’s a part of you and your life.
We build our new home communities in fun areas – we seek out suburban communities with walkable downtown urban cores that offer award winning dining, shopping, and entertainment.
For those looking for a slower pace, we design homes within a private gated lake, golf, and swim master planned award-winning communities.
Finally, we love helping people design and build their dream home on their lot. Our design build team is thrilled to help you make your dream home come true.

Our Expert Team
Tony Perry, CEO & President of Land Development and Acquisition
Tony has been in the homebuilding business since 1978. He founded his first homebuilding company in 1989 and built more than 1,200 of the 6,500 homes in the then newly developed Towne Lake community. Having built thousands of single-family homes in the greater Atlanta area, office spaces, and even a shopping center, Tony decided in 2014 to focus his efforts on the vibrant and popular city of Woodstock.
Tony is a Certified Professional Homebuilder with the Greater Atlanta Homebuilders Association and has won numerous accolades, including Home Builder of the Year Greater Atlanta and multiple awards for Best Building Design. He is active in his community—Woodstock—and has been named Cherokee County Person of the Year and Cherokee County Y Volunteer of the Year.
Tony is married to his incredibly talented wife, Patti Bachtel, and has three adult children and two grandchildren, who love exploring downtown Woodstock with their grandpa!
Chris LaFaive, VP of Production
Chris got his first builders license in Michigan when he was just 19 years old. After three years of building houses there, he pursued his college degree in Chattanooga while running a full-time construction company that specialized in roofing, siding, and deck construction. After a number of years building homes in Tennessee, Chris moved to Atlanta and began building houses with Tony in 2014 – and Rezide Properties was born!
Chris oversees the day to day operations at rezide. He brings an extensive expertise in each part of the homebuilding process to Rezide. If you ask chris though, he will be sure to tell anyone that will listen that it is a team effort and nothing could be accomplished without the dedicated, hardworking team that he leads.
When he’s not working, Chris likes to play basketball and travel. He’s a snowboarder and heads out West to Colorado, Utah or anywhere he can find fresh snow.
