In a word, YES! Maybe we’re a little biased, but we’re also experts on the ins and outs of new home construction and the advantages newly built homes offer over older houses. A home is a big investment, and you want to know that it will not only hold its value, but that it will be a comfortable, easy place to spend your time, relax with your family, and entertain friends. And choosing a new construction home removes so much of the stress and work of maintaining an older home from your day-to-day life.

Here are a few reasons we think you’ll just live better in a new construction home.

New Homes Reflect Current Trends

As you check out older homes that are on the market, you may walk into the kitchen and imagine how much better it would look with white cabinets. Or how you’d really prefer to knock out a wall to make the main living area open concept. The master bedroom would be perfect once you take down the wallpaper and give it a fresh coat of paint.

The time and the cost associated with that list adds up fast! Once you start factoring in all of the “little” changes that it would take to make an older home work for you, it may not be the less expensive option.

When you buy a new home, the design—everything from the floorplan to the paint to the fixtures—reflects current styles and trends. No renovations necessary!

New Construction Homes Require Minimal Maintenance

“I love spending my Saturdays (and hard earned money) fixing things around the house!”… said no one ever. One of the biggest advantages of a new construction home is the peace of mind (and free weekends) that comes from knowing that everything in the house is new! Costs for repairs add up quickly and are often unexpected. A new construction home lets you live a low maintenance lifestyle, too.

Newly Built Homes are More Energy Efficient

And that’s a win for you and the environment. In a new construction home, not only are the windows the latest energy efficient glass, but the seals around them (and the doors), along with improved insulation, keep your air and heat in and the elements out. Add in energy efficient appliances as well, and you’ll really notice the savings in your electric and gas bills.

At Rezide Properties, our motto is just live better, and we truly believe that living in a new construction home allows you to do just that. To learn more about our new homes currently under construction, please call Patti Bachtel at 404-483-1814.
