As 2020 draws to a close and we reflect on all that we’ve experienced and learned this year, we want to share some of what we’ve accomplished. Our homebuilding team has worked hard and stayed busy (and grown!), and we’re proud of each of our successes! Much of the news this year has focused on the negative aspects of 2020 (and we agree! There’s been plenty of hard and even downright sad). But this year has been filled with so much good, so much success, too!
New Neighborhoods
This year, we built in FIVE new neighborhoods – Westown in Woodstock and Marina Parc, The Golf Villas, The Woodlands, and Park Overlook at Lake Arrowhead!
New in Woodstock: One of our most exciting accomplishments this year was breaking ground on Westown in downtown Woodstock. This new neighborhood features two and three bedroom homes quietly tucked away on a beautiful suburban street… just steps from the city’s entertainment district. Tired after work and don’t want to cook dinner? Easy – walk to Pure, Salt, or any other of the fabulous culinary options nearby. Want to meet up with a friend on Saturday? Enjoy the quiet of the Park at City Center or head over to Reformation for a beer.

New homes at Lake Arrowhead in Waleska: Another piece of big news this year was our partnership with Lake Arrowhead and the Johnson Development Corp. Our owner, Tony Perry, worked with the company’s founder, Larry Johnson, when building homes in Towne Lake, and we’re excited for the opportunity to be a part of Lake Arrowhead together!

Custom Home Projects
We love each opportunity we get to build a custom home! By their nature—custom—we’re building something that reflects where individuals or families are in their lives on a real custom level. This year, we worked on EIGHT custom homes, from Marietta to Canton. Perhaps most special of all, one of those new homes was built for our CFO, Katie!
Our Homebuilding Team Grew!
In 2020, we added to our team – our Rezide family, as we like to call it. This year, we added Amanda, our new purchasing agent, and Colin our new builder. At just 20, Colin is our team’s youngest builder!
With the exception of our owner and building partner, our team is made up almost exclusively of millennials. We’re both old and young minded, and one of our real keys to success is our team’s hard-won experience paired with youthful energy.
At Rezide, we love finding the good, the bright, and the positive everywhere we go, and when we stopped to look, we discovered that 2020 had some great moments. And 2021 is full of promise. Stay tuned… we have our eye on a couple new and special projects coming soon! Happy New Year, friends!
