As we were saying: for those less familiar with the city, the Scarecrow Invasion may sound like something right out of a Halloween movie. In reality, it’s a fun downtown Woodstock event that sees the streets lined with scarecrows sponsored by local businesses. Whether you’ve lived here 40 years or are new to the area, a walk down Main Street in October is an absolute must.
Local Hiking
If you’re the outdoorsy type, the change of season is probably beckoning you out into nature. Not only are our new homes in Woodstock convenient to urban amenities, but they’re minutes away from breathtaking outdoor recreation. Apple and Pumpkin Picking in North Georgia
Nothing says fall quite like apples and pumpkins. Reason #835 that we love building new homes in Woodstock: proximity to the North Georgia mountains. A short drive up Interstate 575 will land you right in the heart of apple country (amid a dozen pumpkin patches), and this time of year, you can pick you own, stroll through the orchard (or patch), and spend a perfect fall day enjoying it all.
Downtown Woodstock Sites and Culture
We saved the best for last. Our new construction homes in downtown Woodstock are walkable, and that let’s our homebuyers enjoy the very best this city has to offer. Whether it’s a clear fall day full of sunshine or a warm spring evening as the flowers begin to bloom, a walk through downtown Woodstock offers entertainment and fun no matter the time of year.
Grab a beer under the Live Oak tree at Reformation (the local brewery), take in a unique outdoor concert experience as part of Woodstock Arts’ Lantern Series, or enjoy any one of the exceptional local restaurants’ outdoor dining options.
