From our office staff to our builders, each individual who works here brings unique talents and a passion for doing the best job around.
And our team has recently grown! Today, we’d like to introduce you to four of our newest team members, Leeanna, Josh, Raul, and Ray.
Meet Leeanna Tweed, Our Warranty and Design Center Manager and Assistant to Production Coordinator
Can you tell us a little about yourself?
My name is Leeanna, and I am from McDonough, GA. I currently live in Smyrna, just a short walk away from the Braves stadium! I graduated college in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Communication and Media Studies. Before joining the Rezide team in May, I worked as a sales representative at a logistics company.
What does a typical day look like for you?
On a typical day, I am juggling responding to homeowners about warranty items and coordinating with our trades to find the best solutions as quickly as possible. I am also working on sale’s books for our upcoming floor plans. That is the more creative side of my job! In addition, I am in contact with the builders to schedule dates for materials to be delivered to job sites.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
I love helping people, and I enjoy the people I work with.
Meet Joshua Ertel, Builder
Can you tell us a little about yourself?
I am the father of three boys ages seven, six, and four. I coach their baseball teams, and in our spare time, we love mini golf, Disney, and parks of any sort. I am also a former officer in the military, and I earned my bachelor’s degree in biology from Kennesaw State University.
Before joining the Rezide team, what previous experience did you have in the homebuilding business?
Before joining Rezide Properties in April, I worked in manufacturing for building products for four years as a technical and applications expert. I was also a project manager for a roofing and construction company for about a year.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
I love home building and seeing the fruits of my labor transition into life changing investments for our customers.
Meet Raul Romero, Builder
Can you tell us a little about yourself?
My name is Raul, and I am from Colombia, South America! I moved to the US about 20 years ago, and since then, I’ve lived in Georgia, Colorado, Miami, and Raleigh, NC. I recently moved back to Georgia to be closer to friends and family.
Tell us about your previous experience.
I’ve previously worked on the commercial construction side of the building industry. I used to build commercial rock-climbing facilities throughout the US.
What do you like to do when you’re not working?
I enjoy mountain biking and rock climbing. I like to ride at Blankets Creek and Rope Mill Park (Woodstock has great mountain biking trails!). I also rock climb outdoors if possible or at a local gym. After riding (or climbing) I enjoy spending time with friends at Reformation Brewery in Woodstock.
Meet Ray England, Builder
Can you tell us a little about yourself?
I was born and raised in Monmouth County, New Jersey in a beach town. My father and grandfather were both homebuilders, so I started young—around the age of 12. After college at Coastal Carolina University, I started working for a landscape construction company. I’ve continued working in the industry (including owning my own business at one point), ever since. And in February, I moved to Georgia and started with Rezide.
What do you like most about your job?
I get to continue expanding my knowledge of construction. With the way the company is structured, I have a ton of opportunities to learn. And building a home designed by Tony Perry is pretty awesome – he’s a very well-known designer!
What do you like to do when you’re not working?
I’m passionate about the outdoors—especially fishing. I spend as much time as I can outside—camping, hiking, boating, mountain biking, and floating the ‘Hooch.
